Aprašymas

Mirroring People: The Science of Empathy and How We Connect with Others, written by Marco Iacoboni, discusses the role of mirror neurons and how they are necessary for interaction between people. Iacoboni is a Neurologist and Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA. He also works as director of the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Lab in the Brain Mapping Center at the college, where MRI and TMS is used to observe activity in the brain. He has done much exploration of mirror neurons, which makes him a reliable source for the writing of this book. I enjoyed the way he delved into detail about mirror neurons, but in a very casual-conversation way. He discussed research experiments and made connections to daily life to explain the results, which made the book more relevant as a reader.
