Modern Lithuanian

This Textbook is designed for the teaching of Lithuanian to adult foreign students. The course attempts to give the student a sound knowwledge of the essentials of both spoken and written Lithuanian and take him well on the way to a mastery of literary Lithuanian. The textbook consists of an introduction, 21 lessons and a grammatical appendix. Each lesson has a section on phonetics, a section on grammar, a text, accompanied by vocabulary notes, exercises and conversations.
