Procedures for local and regional authority participation in european Policy Making in the member states

This study shows that without a comprehensive debate and development of a common position submitted to central government for approval, local and regional authorities will not be able to participate fully in the framing of Community law. The study is a valuable contribution to the political debate in the Committee of the Regions, providing its members with an overview of the different forms of local and regional participation in Community decision-making.
